 family-picTHE FAMILY

The Abou Ghoush family of four comprises husband and wife with 2 children under 7.  They fled Syria four years ago with other family members and have been living in Beirut since then.  The wife’s mother and 3 siblings, the Toubeh family, arrived in Canada last December and were sponsored by a private group of citizens in Manotick via the Anglican Church.  We have been in close communication with that sponsorship group and, through them, with both families.

WELL DONE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS FINANCIAL SUPPORT!

When we decided to do a private sponsorship, we determined we needed approximately $32,000.  That is slightly higher than the government suggested amount but reasonable considering first year startup costs and considering the likely income level after our support ends.
We needed strong financial support from the individuals at Westminster and we got it!  Thank you and please continue to consider us as we approach the final goal.
